The food feed
A photo-first vertical feed. A post doesn’t need a place at all: a plate at a restaurant, something you made at home, a bag of tacos in the car.

Live Finds: the clock is the feature.
Report a spot the moment you’re standing at it: a truck on a lot, a weekend pop-up, a stand at a market, a place that just opened. It goes on the map immediately and pings the chasers nearby. Then it stays only as long as other people keep confirming it.
- A photo is required. Evidence, not a claim.
- You have to be there. Reporting and confirming both need you within 150 m.
- 4 hours to start, +90 minutes for every independent confirm, 12 hours at most.
- Two “Gone” reports close a spot back down.
- Alerts go by neighborhood, so a find three towns over doesn’t buzz your phone.
- A vendor’s check-in still wins. It overrides the crowd, always.
A false “closed” costs you a wasted scroll. A false “open” costs you a drive. Disputes break the cheaper way.
Events Near Me
The concert’s the plan. Dinner is the actual question.
Nobody drives an hour to a show and then eats whatever is nearest the parking lot.
- Type a city or use where you are. Concerts, games, festivals and markets, with the day, start time and distance.
- Set the radius yourself: 10, 25, 50, 100 or 250 miles.
- Food here swings the map to the venue: what’s good around it, and what’s open near the doors.
- Along the way finds food between you and the venue, so the stop is on your route.

How it works, answered
How long does a Live Find stay on the FoodChaser map?
A new find starts with 4 hours. Each independent confirmation from another chaser adds 90 minutes, up to a 12-hour ceiling. Two "Gone" reports close it, and a vendor's check-out closes it immediately.
Can someone put a fake spot on the map?
Not from their couch. Reporting and confirming a find both require a photo and being within 150 meters of the spot, and that distance check runs on FoodChaser's servers, not just on the phone.
Do I get notified about every find?
No. Alerts go out by neighborhood, about a 5 km area plus the areas around it, so a find three towns over doesn't buzz your phone.
Does a post have to be tagged to a restaurant?
No. A post needs no place at all. It only claims a spot is open if you flip the Live Find switch on the composer, and that is always your choice.
