What is FoodChaser?
FoodChaser is a free community food app for iPhone and Android. It combines a photo-first food feed of what the people you follow are eating with Live Finds, a live map of food spots reported by people standing at them, plus Events Near Me, which shows concerts, games, festivals and markets with the food around them.
What app shows which food trucks are open near me right now?
FoodChaser's Live Finds shows food trucks, pop-ups, stands and storefronts that chasers have reported open while standing at them, with a photo. Each find has a visible countdown: 4 hours to start, plus 90 minutes per independent confirmation, up to 12 hours. It's free on the App Store and Google Play.
How does FoodChaser keep Live Finds accurate?
Reporting or confirming a find requires a photo and being within 150 meters, checked on FoodChaser's servers. Finds expire unless other chasers confirm them, two "Gone" reports close a find, and a vendor's own check-in or check-out overrides the crowd.
How do I find food near a concert, game or festival?
Open Events Near Me in FoodChaser, type a city or use your location, and set a radius from 10 to 250 miles. Tap Food here on any event to see what's good around the venue and what's open near the doors, or Along the way to find food on your drive there.
Is FoodChaser free?
Yes. FoodChaser is free on the App Store and Google Play, with no subscription.
Is FoodChaser only for food trucks?
No. FoodChaser started as a food truck directory, but it now covers anywhere good food turns up: trucks, pop-ups, market stands, storefronts and home kitchens. Feed posts don't need a place at all.
Who is Scout?
Scout is FoodChaser's guide and mascot: a young-adult red panda and foodie explorer who connects food, places and events into a plan, built from what chasers discover. Ask Scout, a chat and voice guide, is in the works for the app.
What are chasers?
Chasers are the people who use FoodChaser: the community that posts, reports and confirms finds.
Can I keep my food posts private?
Yes. Each post has its own audience: public, friends, or just me. Saves are always private.
Will FoodChaser spam me with notifications?
No. Find alerts go out by neighborhood, about a 5 km area plus the areas around it, so a find three towns over doesn't buzz your phone.
How do I list my food truck or restaurant on FoodChaser?
Listing is free. First search for your business at foodchaser.io/claim, because chasers may have scouted it already, and claim it there. If it isn't listed, create a vendor account at portal.foodchaser.io/seller/signup, then run your spot from the free FoodChaser Vendor app on the App Store (it's coming to Android; it isn’t on Google Play yet). Your check-in and check-out are authoritative and override crowd reports.
Is there a FoodChaser app for vendors?
Yes. FoodChaser Vendor is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and it's coming to Android; it isn’t on Google Play yet. Vendors use it to open for business in one tap, set wait times, send updates to followers and check their menu.

How do I delete my FoodChaser account?
